Congrats on the Miss Asia USA award. Is this a step towards even bigger pageants or do you hope to now utilize that win and pursue acting full-time?

Thank you very much! Miss Asia USA was my first pageant, and it will likely be my only pageant. I had such a wonderful time, and I am thrilled to represent Miss Asia USA as the reigning queen for the next year. Becoming an actress is the reason I came to Hollywood, and I will continue to pursue it full-time over the next year. It will be a busy year, balancing the two, and I couldn’t be more excited!

When and where did the love of acting begin?

I have always had Hollywood dreams. As a child, I vowed I would move to California one day, and I watched movies over and over again in order to memorize the lines and songs to recite to my family. I ended up putting my Hollywood dreams on the back burner due to my athletic career, but I have never regretted returning to my first love.

You have a role in Rogue Warrior: Robot Fighter. How did that come about?

Yes, I was fortunate enough to be cast to play the role of Rhianna in Rogue Warrior: Robot Fighter. I already knew the producer Tracey Birdsall from a project we worked on together in the past. She and director Neil Johnson called me in to audition, and the rest is history! The film stars Tracey Birdsall as Sienna, and Tim McGrath co-stars as Blister. The film also stars Daz Crawford, Stephen Manley, Livvy Stubenrauch, Erin Bethea and Aaron Jacques.

What type of character do you play?

Rhianna is a fighter and a survivor, using every tool known to man (and artificial intelligence!) to stay alive in a post-apocalyptic world.

How was it working with director Neil Johnson, who is a veteran of sci-fi?

Neil is a wonderful director. He is in tune with the actor and knows just how to guide an actor to better performance. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better director to work with.

And the movie was filmed in the desert, I believe?

Yes, we filmed my scenes on location in the Salton Sea area.
Where does the film rank in terms of your favorite film experiences?
I had such a blast on the Rogue Warrior: Robot Fighter set. We all had such great chemistry, and everyone got along so well. It was definitely one of my favorite projects of all time to film.
